Effective communication is key to success in any endeavor. 沟通、媒体, and 表演 students practice human communication in all its forms—from public performance to critical 写作, to social media and filmmaking. We have six tenured faculty members offering a variety of courses to over 120 students, and we encourage our students to enrich their education via related minors and independent study projects. Our aim is to prepare scholars and practitioners of the communication arts who will inform, 影响, and entertain in creative and constructive ways.

The mission of the 沟通、媒体, and 表演 department is to prepare students to become critical thinkers and effective communicators. We combine the theoretical foundations and practical applications of human communication, engaging students with a wide range of experiences in visual studies and production, 演讲, 和戏剧.
